ADR DRIVER TRAINING CERTIFICATE
An ADR Driver Training Certificate must be carried by any driver who is transporting dangerous goods by road. This is a legal requirement.
Keep It Legal provides a wide range of ADR driver training locally in Essex at its training facility in South Ockendon, as well as tailor-made courses for companies across the UK.

After completion of the relevant course and passing the SQA examinations, drivers will receive the certificate which is valid for 5 years. Within the last year of the ADR certificate expiry date, drivers must then sit the ADR Refresher Course.
Unlike many training companies, Keep It Legal has its very own DGSA on-site. Along with years of experience, Keep Legal can offer quality training at either your site or the purpose-built training facilities at our disposal.
Candidates must pass at least 3 modules to gain the ADR Training certificate; the CORE module, either the TANKS and/or PACKAGES module, and at least one of the nine CLASSES which cover each specific type of main hazard that dangerous goods may have.
Keep It Legal can offer any combination of course however, the most common courses are as follows:
FULL ADR (5-day) – Core, Tanks, Packages, Classes 2-6, 8 & 9
BASIC ADR (3.5-day) – Core, Packages, Classes 2-6, 8 & 9
TANKS ADR (3-day) – Core, Tanks, Class 3
REFRESHER Courses – Refresh your current ADR Certificate
UPGRADE Courses – Add additional modules to your current ADR Certificate

ADR COURSE SCHEDULE 2025
Keep Legal provide a wide range of ADR Driver training and certification courses throughout the year. These include full ADR driver training from scratch or a series of ADR refresher courses for drivers to update their skills and knowledge on the latest laws, rules and regulations surrounding being a driver of any type of liquids, gasses, flammable materials or hazardous waste.
You also have the opportunitiy to take the ADR training remotely online via Zoom if you wish.
This is a good option for companies that wish to train a group of drivers without the need for expensive costs for travel and accomodation

FAQ
I’m doing class 2 gases in tanks, can I add other classes at a later date?
Yes you can but the five years of validity will still run out five years from when you sat the original Class 2 exam.
How is the ADR certification exam carried out and how long will it take to get the result?
The exam is carried out online and the result is instant.
What happens if I fail an ADR exam and when can I resit the exam?
You can re-sit your ADR certification exam on the same day as long as the official exam fee is paid.
Can I use an ADR course as part of my CPC training?
Depending on how many ADR modules you sit you can earn up to 28 of your required 35 CPC hours
How long does an ADR certification last for?
An ADR certification lasts for 5 years
