INTRODUCTION TO ROAD TRANSPORT OPERATIONS

The Introduction to Road Transport Operations course is designed for those who are in the role but require further skills and knowledge to lay the foundations of their professional road ahead. This course can also be part of an Operator Licence undertaking or Traffic Commissioner request.

After attendance of the course candidates will receive a certificate which can also be suitable for Traffic Commissioner requests or Public Inquirier.

Course contents includes the following modules:

Operator Licensing
Enforcement and the Operator Licence Risk Score (OCRS)
Drivers’ Hours and Records
Planned Preventative Maintenance and Defect Reporting
Health & Safety
Other rules surrounding transport
Financial Management
