The need for more and more truck mechanics to help deliver goods and equipment throughout the UK is at a critical tipping point. Over the last two years and since the pandemic has abated, we have seen the logistics industry go through many challenges, not least the need for more and more truck drivers to help deliver goods and equipment throughout the UK.

The pandemic showed that the industry as a whole were not prepared for the effect of a major surge in home based deliveries, this meant an acute shortage of truck drivers.

As consumer menatlity has changed, more and more people got used to having goods delivered to home. This influx of new drivers has since created this critical gap in the skills needed for skilled truck mechanics.
