DFS was founded in 1969 with a single store near Doncaster and has since grown to become the clear market leader of upholstered furniture in the UK.

Today DFS employs more than 3,500 people and operates over 100 retail stores in the UK, Spain, the Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands, a comprehensive online channel, and three upholstery factories in the UK.

Utilising its 500 drivers and modern fleet of vehicles, as part of its service, DFS also delivers its products to customers across the country through their very own delivery network.

 

Training Requirements

As part of their continued training commitment to its staff, DFS wanted a completely bespoke training package designed for its team of drivers. The course developed had to meet certain requirements:

Be designed with DFS branding in mind

Count towards the Driver CPC

Include company-specific policies and procedures

Include quality material and handouts

Meet a strict schedule

Be of a World Class standard, in line with the company ethos

 

After putting our proposal to them, Keep Legal was officially selected as an official DFS training partner. Needless to say, we got straight to work!

 

The Final Product

After a few months of planning and hard work, DFS were presented with the final package. The company is now confident that its drivers are receiving the quality training they deserve.
